Archives (papers, maps, plans and photographs) and other information on the Mount Morgan Gold Mine and associated railway activities can also be found in a number of regional collections, including the Capricornia Collection at Central Queensland University in Rockhampton.

 

Mount Morgan Historic Rail Complex
    Join us for our recently reopened Trolley Tours or a ride behind Mt Morgan #3 on the railway as you explore one of Australia's largest mining history sites. Tours start from the Historic Golden Mount Tourist Centre (the restored QR station) just off the highway on the north side of town.
